Gloria Galante, GMG Studios Harp Forum director, is the professor and founder of the Harp program at West Chester University, Master of all levels harp professor, director of the WCU Harp Ensemble, and a Musicopia ensemble leader. Gloria studied with Edna Phillips. She is on the prestigious roster of the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts. Gloria has toured internationally as a solo artist, is a chamber musician, and performs with various ensembles including several jazz and Afro-Cuban ensembles, principal harpist of the Divine Hand Ensemble. The legendary Jazz Quartet featuring Odean Pope, sax, Gloria Galante, harp, Alan Nelsen, Drums and Fred Vandenberg, Bass is preserving living jazz history with the music. Over 33 recordings made available to date, Gloria has also produced two therapeutic harp CDs and is a certified music practitioner CMP from the Music for Healing and Transition Program. Gloria plays for Crossroads Hospice Gift of the Day Patients and Abington Reproductive Medicine for Transfer Patients.
In addition to performing, she is a composer of works and transcriptions for harp.

CELTIC HARP TRACK
Julianna Kocher, teacher and specialist of harp and piano pedagogy, graduate from West Chester University. She majored in harp performance, studied with Gloria Galante at West Chester University 2009 undergrad. She won the sight-reading competition during her first semester, played with many ensembles of various sizes and performed as a soloist with the West Chester University Symphony Orchestra as principal harpist, where their music has been played on many radio, Spotify. She also performs with the WCU Harp Ensemble. She became a freelance musician, playing for weddings, special events, and with many local musical ensembles and theaters. In 2011, Julianna received her master’s degree in piano pedagogy from West Chester University and she has taught private lessons to both piano and harp students for 16 years.
